ABBA in the most successful popular music group ever to come out of Scandinavia, and ranks amongst the top acts in the history of popular music. The quartet topped worldwide charts from the mid 1970s to the early 198s.
This Dvd reveals how ABBA’s different personalities came together to become a pop phenomenon. Their songs have stood the test of time and are still highly appreciated, remaining a fixture of many radio playlists.
ABBA is formed by the first letters of each group member’s name: Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid (Frida). As of 2006, ABBA’s hit single “Fernando” still held the record for the most weeks at number one in Australia – 14 weeks, along with The Beatles’ “Hey Jude”.
