Abbamania Australia – Money, Money, Money – The Memorabilia Collection

Nicholas Faltskog

In the mid 70’s Abbamania was sweeping over Australia and unlicensed items such a t-shirts etc started to flood the market. To keep this under control Abba and their manager Stig Anderson took control to make sure fans could buy official items authorised by the group themselves. From 1975 to 1978, Reg Grundy was given licence to produce authorised Abba memorabilia for Australia (and New Zealand). In those few short years they produced some of the most amazing and iconic Abba memorabilia ever. And it lives on toddy as so much of it features in the legendary movie made by Grundy’s in 1977: Abba The Movie.

Every item manufactured by Grundy’s was sent to Sweden for full approval by Stig, Agnetha, Benny, Björn and Frida before being released.

This book features new and unseen photos from my own person collection. Get ready to re-live the Abba crazed days of the 70’s!
